Synopsis:

Follow the Xinyao journey and share the tears and joy, the friendship and passion of a group of our homegrown music makers. Be sure to catch pre-screening music performance by Tong Yek Suan and Tristan Ong from ETC Music who will perform a selection of the most popular Xinyao songs.

Programme is in Mandarin with English subtitles.

《我们唱着的歌》是新加坡独立电影人邓宝翠以新谣为主题，花了两年多时间制作的华语人文纪录片。让大家重温新谣的发展，回味当年这小岛国的独特音乐岁月。《我们唱着的歌》从历史的角度，配合人文的情怀，以细腻的手法带出轰动一时的新谣运动缘起和转变。纪录片放映前，别错过观赏《闲杂人等》唐玉璇和王志文的演唱，曲目包括当年受欢迎的新谣歌曲。
