Synopsis:

Ong Kim Seng, BBM. A.W.S. DF. N.W.S is among the most acclaimed watercolour artists in Southeast Asia. He is a winner of 7 awards from the prestigious American Watercolour Society in New York as well as the first Asian outside of the U.S. to be awarded its membership. In 2000, he was conferred the distinguished Dolphin Fellowship by the American Watercolour Society.

A self-taught painter, Ong Kim Seng became a full-time artist in 1985. From an aspiring teenager with means so modest that formal art training was never possible, he battled poverty and rejection to become one of Singapore's foremost watercolour artists. Join us for this insightful session and be inspired by Ong Kim Seng's life story of struggle and dedication for his artistic passion!
