Synopsis:
ShanghART Gallery will host artists Birdhead and Robert Zhao Renhui in conversation with Shanghai-based curator of Asian art Biljana Ciric and collector Hallam Chow.
Acclaimed photography duo Birdhead (SONG Tao and JI Weiyu) began a six-month Southeast Asia residency in July 2016, travelling through Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and Singapore. The works created during the course of their residency are currently on show in ShanghART Singapore at Gillman Barracks and comprise Birdhead's first solo exhibition in Southeast Asia, Welcome to Birdhead World Again - Singapore 2016.
This event is held in conjunction with Singapore Art Week 2017.
