Synopsis:

Participants are required to attend all three days of the workshop.

Susan Harris, the editorial director of renowned online magazine of international literature Words Without Borders, will conduct a three-day editing clinic for translators in Singapore. The aim of this 3-day workshop is to guide participants in their English translations of Singapore literary works, and the pitching of their projects to publishers. Participants are to submit a draft manuscript of a translated work to The Select Centre by 23 October. Susan will read through the manuscripts beforehand and work with the participants on their works during the Clinic.

Suitable for: Intermediate to Advanced levels

Participants will be required to submit a manuscript of translated work. Details will be emailed to participants upon purchase of tickets.
