Synopsis:

Inter/Act is a meeting point—of gestures, voices, histories, and ways of seeing. Bringing together Indonesian and Singapore-based artists, the exhibition unfolds as a living conversation, where each work becomes an invitation to pause, respond, and connect. Across borders and perspectives, Inter/Act traces the quiet and powerful spaces between self and other, artist and audience, expression and reflection.

Organised by Modern Art Society Singapore and Kotak: Art Collective, the exhibition celebrates the act of exchange as something fluid, human, and ever-evolving. Through diverse artistic practices, Inter/Act reveals how contemporary art can hold difference in harmony, turning encounter into dialogue and dialogue into shared experience. More than an exhibition, it is a crossing of paths—one that continues beyond the gallery, carrying its echoes from Singapore to Yogyakarta.
