Synopsis:
In a choreographed timeline of life's experiences, SMU Ballare presents a journey of growth and self-discovery. From the nuances of childhood innocence to adolescent rebellion to looking back at everything in-between in one's silver years, a kaleidoscope of emotions will be portrayed through five standard ballroom dances.
In this path of soul-searching, one thing is certain – these fragments of life all culminate in the creation of one's memories and identity. Be it through the feeling of regret or contentment, the past is a pivotal reason that shapes the future.
SMU Ballare is a prominent standard ballroom dance club in Singapore. Established in 2008, the club performs and competes in five genres - Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz and Tango. Under the guidance of resident instructor Melvyn Low, a 15-time undefeated South East Asian Standard Ballroom Professional Champion, SMU Ballare has since won accolades in numerous notable local and international Dancesport competitions.
