Synopsis:

At the invitation of a theatre director, a group of actors and production personnel reunite for the lavish re-staging, in a mansion, of a classic theatrical masterpiece that was last presented more than 10 years ago. At that time, an act of sabotage on stage during the performance resulted in the death of the leading lady. Subsequent police investigations failed to uncover any evidence to identify the mastermind behind the incident, and the case remains unsolved. The reunion brings together everyone who was linked to the incident in one way or another, and the group soon realises that the gathering was called for a reason unknown to them.

About BODY X
Conceived and directed by seasoned Singaporean theatre practitioners Li Xie 李邪 and Danny Yeo 杨君伟, BODY X is an original and innovative Chinese site-specific murder-mystery theatre format with a unique audience participation element. As the story unfolds in multiple scenes that simultaneously take place in different spaces within The Arts House, audiences rely on their instincts to decide which character or storyline to follow. The theatrical experience is a personalised one as it involves each audience member collecting clues to piece the puzzle together, on their own terms, in order to determine who the murderer is. As the story is set in the 1970s, audiences will also step back in time, as The Arts House will be transformed into the interiors of a grand old mansion reflecting that period.
