Synopsis:
The Voices of Singapore Festival 2025 marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the 10th edition of the Festival and a decade of celebrating a Singing Singapore.
Singapore's largest non-competitive choral festival returns from 6 to 10 September 2025, bringing together choirs of all ages from across the nation. In line with Voices of Singapore's #SING60 initiative, this year's edition shines a light on our homegrown choral heritage, featuring repertoire that reflects Singapore's stories, sounds and musical identity, alongside works from around the world.
Festival activities will take place across Capitol Theatre, CHIJMES Hall and VOS Capitol Studios, featuring concerts, masterclasses, workshops, recitals, free outdoor performances, choir exchanges and four specially formed Festival Choruses.
We are also proud to welcome three distinguished international clinicians: Mat Wright (UK), Susanna Saw (Malaysia) and Sanders Lau (Hong Kong), who will each share their expertise through sessions with festival participants.
New in 2025 is Perform and Learn, a concert-meets-masterclass programme held at Capitol Theatre. Selected choirs will perform for one another and receive real-time feedback and live coaching from our guest clinicians, making this a uniquely interactive learning opportunity.
Join us as we celebrate ten years of community and connection through song!
