Synopsis:

The FlamencAsian double bill is an exhilarating amalgamation of flamenco with dance and music from Spain, India, Taiwan and Singapore's own multicultural fabric, performed by artistes from around the region. Inspired by the mythical story of Pandora's Box and the Indian theological concept of Arishadvargas, "Esperanza - Asha: Through the Lens of Hope" is an exciting new ground breaking Kathak-Flamenco multidisciplinary fusion work by Soniaponnamma Devaiah in collaboration with Flamenco Sin Fronteras' founder Maestro Antonio Vargas, and renowned kathak and contemporary choreographer Madhu Nataraj, together with Flamenco Sin Fronteras company dancers and kathak dancers from Singapore and India.

Next, the FlamencAsian Musical Experience is an exhilarating ride through a musical medley like no other, as timeless stories and shared experiences are woven into a human tapestry through the universal language of music and dance, crossing boundaries and culture. Come and experience first-hand the incredible synergy of the virtuosic collaboration between Singapore homegrown talents Yong Kai Lin (violin), Govin Tan (percussion), Azrin Abdullah (Oud), Nawas Mirajkar (tabla), Pratima Bellavue (classical Indian vocals), Aleem Keys (piano), flamenco vocalist Chen Po Yin (Taiwan), classical flamenco guitarist Sergio Muñoz (Spain / Taiwan) and other musicians in Singapore.
