Synopsis:
The Asian Film Archive (AFA) presents Singapore Shorts '25, the latest edition of AFA's annual showcase celebrating diverse and groundbreaking short films by Singaporean filmmakers. The selection was curated by a panel comprising professionals from different creative industries.
In its second year running, the special programme this year was developed by Gerald Sim and Vanessa Ronald, two of the four participants of the Film Programmers Lab 2025 by AFA and Objectifs.
Accompanying the screening programmes will be in-person Q&As with filmmakers moderated by our selection panel, as well as commissioned essays and response pieces by distinguished writers. Singapore Shorts '25 will take place from 1 – 22 August 2025 at Oldham Theatre.
