Synopsis:

Get ready for a monstrously fun start to the June holidays! Embark on a literary adventure for the whole family at Monstrous Fun! Back for its fourth edition from 30 May – 1 Jun 2025, this programme presented by Arts House Limited is packed with hands-on workshops, and larger-than-life performances and activities, including a Drum-A-Story workshop with 2018 Cultural Medallion recipient Louis Soliano.

Families can also look forward to the debut of Monster Parade, where children and their parents are encouraged to don the monstrous costumes and accessories they created at the various drop-in activities during the weekend in this fun procession led by resident monster, Britney! Fan-favourite Monster Hunt also returns with a twist—this year, it's co-created with students from School of the Arts (SOTA) who have conjured up an imaginative experience that introduces participants to the nooks and crannies of The Arts House. You can also discover literary gems at The Monstrous Fun! Book Fair or enjoy various interactive performances and activities, including an outdoor community visual art installation A Message to My Little Monster at The Arts House lawn.

Monstrous Fun! invites families with children aged five and above to discover and create lasting memories together through a wondrous world of words and stories.
