Synopsis:
Bukit Batok East's "Palettes of Joy" celebrates food and fruits through various creative and sustainable art forms. Participants can enjoy making hanging mobile art, folding paper origami, sculpting food-themed clay art, creating recycled art using bubble wrap painting, crocheting and participating in a fruit art-making family contest.
Witness the attempt to set a record in the Singapore Book of Records for the largest display of food clay art models and the "Gust of Sweet Harmony," a large visual display co-created by Artist Tay Swee Siong and residents.
Be sure to catch the performances by local schools, residents, and the Bukit Batok Chinese Orchestra.
