Synopsis:
Episode 7 Theatre Film is proud to present Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet in Singapore!
This Pulitzer-winning, Broadway-toured classic depicts the ruthless world of real estate salesmen. Set in a high-pressure office, the story delves into the cut-throat competition, greed and deception that characterize their lives.
As the salesmen resort to unethical tactics, their relationships crumble, revealing the dark underbelly of ambition and desperation.
This staging of the play looks to 'set fire' to the archaically masculine constructs and to explore the hidden energy and humour between the beats, by interpreting the work with an (almost) all-female cast, playing the big, bad men.
