Synopsis:

Do we have a stronger connection to the traditional arts than we think? How do spaces interact with the way we create?

Artist's Block is an audio-guided trail by Artwave that leads you into Singapore's traditional arts enclave, right at the heart of Waterloo Street. Created in collaboration with four arts groups residing in Stamford Arts Centre, get a glimpse into the daily lives of these artists as you visit their studios and hear their stories.

Additional Information to Take Note:

Capacity: 10 pax per session. This is a limited capacity programme. Each session is only open for 10 pax and all participants are required to keep to groups of 5 or less.
Audience:
- This audio-guided trail at the Stamford Arts Centre (SAC) is in English.
- Please arrive 15 mins before your start time to register, complete safe entry check in and to use the washroom within the SAC if needed.
- Admission is subject to tickets produced at the meeting point.
- Personal mobile devices with data access and earphones/headphones are required.
- This work involves interaction with objects/people. Hand sanitising stations will be made available at all points.
- Participants are to observe safe distancing measures and keep their masks on at all times during this trail.
- Recommended for 9 years old and above.
- We strongly encourage all participants to conduct self-testing via an antigen rapid test (ART) before attending this programme.

Attire: Come in comfortable attire to walk around in, and footwear that are easily removed and worn back on.

Accessibility: This venue and the audio trail is wheelchair accessible.

Weather: This is a rain or shine event. The event will be held mostly indoors. In the case of wet weather, please come in non-slip footwear and bring an umbrella.

Latecomers: There is no lockout policy but note that the experience will start promptly at your registered start time.
