Checkpoint Theatre makes a triumphant return to live performance with Session Zero, running from 02 - 19 December 2021 at 42 Waterloo Street.
As an estranged couple makes one last attempt to save their marriage, could a game of Dungeons & Dragons truly make a difference? As they embark on what could be the final journey of their life together, the couple must decide if the premise of their relationship is a game or a competition.
Directed and with dramaturgy by Huzir Sulaiman, this intimate two-hander featuring playwright-performer Jo Tan and Brendon Fernandez examines matters of the heart, in a bid to heal together. With the syllables of the forgotten language that they once shared now echoing through their lives, they must rediscover the words that brought them together in the first place.
