Synopsis:

Essential Reflections is an immersive 360 collage that features six short melodies and 26 hand drawn sketches crafted by healthcare and social service workers, as well as members of the public.

Each sketch and melody is weaved into a 360 visual and sound scape that changes with time; inviting new meanings when fused together. The collage mirrors how we are building new meaning collectively, while living in a dearth of information surrounding the virus.

Playing with the idea of allowing our slow thoughts to revolve in a 360 sphere, and marrying low-tech sketches to high-tech virtual reality, this immersive experience invites us to reimagine a future virtual world where slow and low are essential.

Ps: As the sounds are moving in 360, listening with a good pair of headphones/earphones will be quite nice. And if you have a Virtual Reality headset to watch it with, you'd feel like you're in the film. If you don't have a VR headset, don't worry!
