Synopsis:

2021 marks the 30th anniversary of leading Singapore charity Fei Yue, growing from one family service centre in 1991 to a multi-service social service organisation with 34 centres throughout Singapore - reaching out to more than 82,000 individuals and their families annually. Adapting to the new normal and changes brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic, Fei Yue, for the first time in its history, is organising a massive online charity drive that features an exciting lineup of activities.

Celebrating and honouring Fei Yue's 30 years of work with the local community and beneficiaries, the Fei Yue Toast to 30 fundraiser aims to raise S$250,000 by the end of July, with funds going towards initiatives that will improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in Singapore. The charity also hopes to promote the spirit of giving within Singapore's society, and is working with organisations and supporters to raise funds. Through the Tote Board Enhanced Fund-Raising Programme, Tote Board and the Singapore government will also match dollar-for-dollar donations to the fundraiser.

Fei Yue Toast to 30 fundraiser will feature an exciting lineup of activities: a Charity Movie Premiere and online movie passes to inspirational movie The Ride; exciting food options in collaboration with local F&B social enterprises; an online art auction of 10 exquisite art pieces; sale of mask sets; hosted online sessions with leading startup investors and technology leaders; and many more ground-up initiatives such as mini-campaigns by home bakers and charity yoga classes - there's definitely something for everybody to enjoy while they do good!

The Fei Yue Toast to 30 Fundraiser runs from now to 31 July 2021, and its constituent events include a Charity Movie Premiere of The Ride (16 June at the Capital Tower) and an Online Charity Auction (from now till 13 June 2021).

As part of the Fundraiser, donors can also choose to receive meal vouchers, with the rest of the proceeds going to Fei Yue's 30th Anniversary fundraiser. With the meal vouchers, donors will be able to choose from a wide range of food & beverages at the social enterprises such as weekly set meals at Soul Food; a set of open-faced toast, beverage and a tahini billionaire bar at The Social Space; S$30 worth of food & beverages at The Social Kitchen; and a set for two with drinks, waffles and coffee brew bags at Foreword Coffee Roasters.

The funds raised will go towards essential initiatives such as Fei Yue's Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC) and Active Ageing Centres (AAC) and help improve the lives of over 1,500 beneficiaries.
