Synopsis:
Art created using machine learning frameworks, an application of artificial intelligence is increasingly being explored in the field of generative computer art today. This workshop will take you through a brief introduction on the processes behind popular machine learning frameworks, what kind of "AI art" is being made today, how to generate your own machine-learned visuals using the tools available online, and methods of transforming them into your own artwork.
About your instructor:
Jo is a new media artist with a background in architecture working with digital technologies, such as AR, VR, 360 film, full-dome projections, and multi-sensory installations. Her recent work with machine learning questions the role of creative intent in man-machine collaborations and the meaning of being human in the face of increasing automation.
