Synopsis:

The exciting new frontier of 360 filmmaking allows us to create new and original immersive experiences. In this introductory holiday workshop, young adults will be introduced to 360 filmmaking and gain experience shooting 360 video with special cameras.

Join this highly interactive hands-on workshop to get inspired about the possibilities with 360 filmmaking, and equip yourself with basic skills to embark on your own projects!

This workshop is recommended for young adults aged 13 to 18. No prior filmmaking experience is required.

Course overview:

- What is 360 filmmaking?
- Examples of creative 360 video

• 360 camera practical
- Camera handling, functions, in-class practice shoot

About the instructor:

After an 18-year career in media, design and tech, Lionel Chok pursued a postgraduate study in Creative Technology, specialising in Augmented and Virtual Reality, at Middlesex University in London. There, he produced London's first 360 Virtal Reality dance and a VR experience for Singapore Inside Out (London), a touring exhibition by Singapore Tourism Board.

Lionel is Creative Technologist at Immersively, a startup with offices in both Singapore and Malaysia and plans to expand across Asia.
