Synopsis:
Regarded as one of our young & eminent concert pianists of the world with achievements in international award competitions, George Harliono makes his debut in Singapore with The Philharmonic Orchestra in celebration of Sergei Rachmaninoff 150th Anniversary. He is performing Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor Op. 18 that embodies emotional depth and technical brilliance.
With Music Director Lim Yau, a recipient of the Cultural Medallion and COMPASS Lifetime Achievement Award, at the helm, the evening also features two other Rachmaninoff favourites: the soulful Vocalise and the sentimental, colourful Symphonic Dances- lush, melodic works that define the term "Romantic".
