Synopsis:
We have curated a collection of modern and contemporary dance ensembles that celebrates the traditional Korean dance form, and acts as a precursor to its evolution and application in modern dance. This performance features 80% of local Singaporean talent, a mix of professional and semi-professional dancers, who have been broadening their dance technique over the years together with K Cultural Dance. This event provides not only a rare opportunity to view, first hand, traditional Korean dance forms that otherwise, would only be available in South Korea, but to also view award winning contemporary performances choreographed by Son Yu Joung.
