Synopsis:

Most of the Bishan housing estate sits on what used to be Peck San Theng, a Cantonese cemetery, and Kampong San Teng, a village.

Join Lee Kok Leong – a passionate museum volunteer and curator of Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital Heritage Gallery and Kwong Wai Siew Peck San Theng Heritage Centre – as he shares the story of Bishan's transformation over the years, beginning with the history of the cemetery, the communities which resided in the village and what the tombstones reveal about the culture, traditions and professions of these communities.

This programme will be conducted in Mandarin.
