Synopsis:
Metaphors Be With You is a spoken-word personal story showcase held bimonthly at Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity. Interested participants will submit a true, personal story according to a given theme. Our curators will choose the best seven entries to be presented in front of a live audience in an intimate studio.
The theme for the next show is Scars & Tattoos.
Metaphors Be With You has garnered a growing stream of supporters over our last eleven series. Every showing, more than 40 people turn up at HCAC's doorstep to indulge themselves in heartbreaking, hilarious and honest stories that never fail to touch hearts and change minds – even slightly.
