Synopsis:
Take a closer look at your surroundings and create your own mini-documentary in this fun and entertaining workshop! Working in teams, students will be introduced to the documentary filmmaking process – from research, to directing and interviewing, to shooting and finally editing, and be equipped with the skills for visual storytelling through the digital video medium. The workshop will end with a in-class screening of the documentary films.
This workshop is recommended for students between 13 to 16 years old. Cameras will be provided.

About the instructor:
After an 18-year career in media, design and tech, Lionel Chok pursued a postgraduate study in Creative Technology, specialising in Augmented and Virtual Reality, at Middlesex University in London. There, he produced London's first 360 Virtal Reality dance and a VR experience for Singapore Inside Out (London), a touring exhibition by Singapore Tourism Board.
Lionel is Creative Technologist at Immersively, a startup with offices in both Singapore and Malaysia and plans to expand across Asia.
